Services
We pride ourselves on providing our patients with the best dental care.
Exams/Cleanings
The key to excellent oral health starts with the basics. We offer regular cleanings with Registered Dental Hygienists and exams by Dr. Barrett. Six-month recalls are extremely important to catch problems early and maintain proper oral hygiene.
Periodontal Care
Some patients may require a "deeper" cleaning if it has been a while since they have seen a dentist or have periodontal disease. We can help you get back on track with a cleaning that involves local anesthesia and regular checkups.
Composite restorations
You usually hear of dentists placing "fillings" but the proper term is a restoration. When cavities or tooth fractures are relatively small, we can remove the decay and restore the area with a tooth-colored restorative material known as composite. These restorations are esthetically pleasing but most importantly help return your tooth to a healthy state!
Crowns
For teeth that are broken substantially or in situations where a cavity is large, a crown may be needed. A crown is made of a ceramic material that is fabricated to look like a tooth, replace lost tooth structure, and cover what remains.
CEREC Scanner
A CEREC scanner is a device used in many cases to negate the need for impressions! We use our scanner to help fabricate partial dentures, orthodontic aligners, same-day crowns, and so much more!
Bridges
When tooth loss occurs, there are many options to restore the missing teeth. One of these options that may be recommended are bridges. Bridges are made of a ceramic material, look like your natural teeth, and "span the gap" to fill in the edentulous area. This is a fixed option that doesn't come in and out of the mouth but is cemented in place.
Endodontics
When a tooth breaks or a cavity gets too large, bacteria can reach into the pulp of the tooth and a toothache can result. In these situations, Dr. Barrett may recommend root canal treatment. This is done to remove the dead pulp and bacteria and restore the tooth to health.
Aligner orthodontics
We proudly offer Clear Correct aligners at our office. This is a secondary option to traditional wire-based o_rthodontics, is esthetic, and can help you achieve that perfect smile you desire. Ask Dr. Barrett if you're a candidate for Clear Correct and get the process started!
Complete dentures removable partial dentures
Dentures are a means to replace missing teeth. Both of these are removable appliances, meaning that they are not permanently fixed into the mouth and can be removed and placed by the patient. In cases where some teeth remain, a partial denture may be a great option for you. In cases where no teeth remain, a complete denture is an option to replace those missing teeth and restore function and esthetics.
Simple extractions/Surgical extractions:
Some teeth may be beyond restoring and could be causing pain/swelling/infection. In cases such as these, removing the tooth may be the best option. We promise to make extractions as quick and painless as possible while keeping your anxiety at ease.
Teeth whitening
Want a beautiful, pearly white smile? Ask us about our whitening options. We can fabricate whitening trays in-house for you to achieve the level of brightness you desire.
Implant restorations
Implants are becoming a standard of care in dentistry. Implants can be used to replace single teeth, multiple teeth, or in some cases the entire dentition. Dr. Barrett can discuss the implant process with you and help you determine what type of implant modality can best serve you. Once the implant is placed and healed, we can restore the implant with crown/crowns or a denture.
Pediatric care
We love seeing your little ones in our office! We believe that getting children comfortable with professional dental care at a young age is one of the most important things you can do to insure a lifetime of excellent oral hygiene and health. We treat children of all ages!
Emergency care
Dental emergencies can be a stressful thing. We understand that. If you have a dental emergency, please don't hesitate to let us know. Dr. Barrett and his staff are trained to handle dental traumas and want nothing more than to help you in your time of need.
